Ochocinco's plan for Vikings: I'll blow Ragnar's horn

Ochocinco's plan for Vikings: I'll blow Ragnar's horn Hide the horn.

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco has a special celebration planned if he scores Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome.

Ochocinco said he plans to blow the Vikings' famous Gjallarhorn if he scores.

"I'm going to steal it from him. What's his name, Ragnar?" Ochocinco said. "He better give it to me, or I'm going to MMA him."

The Vikings' mascot might be tough to catch, though, because he has a motorcycle.

"He has a motorcycle, too?" Ochocinco said. "Oh, (expletive), I could use that. Oh, gosh, it's going to be a fun game, I promise."

Ochocinco doesn't have a motorcycle license, but he doesn't care.

"Maybe they can include that in the fine," he said.

One of the NFL's most colorful players was in a good mood today when he spoke to Twin Cities reporters during a conference call.

On a more serious note, though, Ochocinco said he will be "pissed" if Vikings Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield doesn't play. Winfield has been sidelined since Oct. 18 because of a foot injury. He suffered a setback in practice on Nov. 27, and it's not clear whether he will be able to play against Cincinnati.

"He's probably the most complete corner you can find in the NFL," Ochocinco said. "You have great corners, but you never find one that's complete that can cover and tackle at the same time. I have so much respect for dude. I was really looking forward to going against him once I saw the schedule during the season."

Ochocinco sent a Tweet to Vikings offensive lineman Bryant McKinnie to pass along a message that he's going to run circles around the defense.

"Yeah, most definitely," Ochocinco said. "I don't have a choice. I'm not going to let anybody cover me wearing purple. Come on, now."

Ochocinco did say he has a lot of respect for the Vikings' defense, highlighting the play of Jared Allen, Pat Williams and Kevin Williams. He's looking forward to the challenge playing against the defense.

It remains to be seen what kind of creativity Ochocinco will have up his sleeve if he does score. Will he actually try to blow the horn? That would be tough because it's only on the field before the game before it's dragged away inside the bowels of the Metrodome.

And if he does blow the horn, would that draw a fine from the NFL?

He was fined $30,000 from the league for wearing a poncho and sombrero on the sideline after his touchdown Sunday in a win over Detroit. He confirmed the fine today, but he's not concerned.

Ochocinco said he puts away $100,000 before the season starts just for fines from the league.

"Yeah, most definitely," he said. "I already know coming into the season, especially with me having something to prove this year after such a down year last year, one of the ways I have fun, you know ... celebration is part of my personality. It is what it is."

He was fined $20,000 earlier this season after playfully offering a $1 bill to an official and joking later that he was trying to bribe him.

"Anytime I get fined, you know I'm going to continue to have fun," he said. "I think one of the reasons they fine players, it's a way to control us because they think most of us play for the money. I don't play to get paid.

"I'm having fun. The reason they fine us is because they think the money is all we care about. That's not my focal point. My focal point is playing Football and having fun. I'm in this game because I love it."

He doesn't expect to ever face a suspension from the NFL for repeated excessive celebrations.

"What are they going to suspend me for? Having fun?" Ochocinco said. "I'm not that bad. 'Breaking news: Chad Ochocinco suspended for too many celebrations.' How would that sound?

"If it ever gets to that point, I'm not hurting anybody. I'm very respectful with everybody I play against."
