Nobody loves streaks more than the National Football League, it seems. There will be a couple on the line when the New England Patriots face the New Orleans Saints in the Louisiana Superdome on Monday night. First of all, the Saints have won their first 10 games -- the longest winning streak in the checkered history of the New Orleans franchise. The Patriots have a couple of streaks on their side. New England has won the last six times it played on Monday Night Football. Also, the Pats have won 17 consecutive regular-season games against the NFC.
More important and most intriguing: Monday night's game might be a preview of Super Bowl XLIV.
