Colts AT Texans When: Noon Line: Colts by 3 1/2. Synopsis: Indy hasn't been dominant lately, winning its last 4 outings by a combined 10 points, but does have one dominant statistic - 19 consecutive regular-season victories. And it clinches the AFC South title with a victory and a Jacksonville loss. Peyton Manning leads the NFL's top-ranked aerial attack and Houston's defense is in the middle of the pack vs. the pass. The Texans try to bounce back from a narrow loss to Tennessee and QB Matt Schaub leads the NFL's No. 3 passing attack against a defense that also is in the middle of the pack vs. the throw. Houston needs this one MUCH more than Indy, which will be without key DE Dwight Freeney (abdominal injury).
Texans 24, Colts 23.
Browns AT Bengals
When: Noon Line: Bengals by 13.
Synopsis: Cleveland finally showed signs of life offensively last week as Brady Quinn threw for 4 TDs - but that came vs. lowly Detroit and he gets a much tougher test here. Cincy allows just 16.7 points per game (No. 3 in the NFL) and will be mad after being upset in Oakland. The Bengals hope to have RB Cedric Benson back from a hip injury that KO'd him for that one. QB Carson Palmer should have a post-Thanksgiving feast vs. the league's worst defense (402.0 yards per game allowed).
Bengals 30, Browns 13.
Redskins AT Eagles
When: Noon Line: Eagles by 9.
Synopsis: Washington has lost 8 in a row on the road, and is minus its top 2 RBs (Clinton Portis, Ladell Betts) because of injuries and the line is beat up, too. Not a good sign vs. a team that needs to win to stay close in the NFC East and wild-card race and unleashes the NFL's 8th-ranked defense against a team that has scored more than 17 points just once.
Eagles 20, Redskins 10.
Dolphins AT Bills
When: Noon Line: Dolphins by 3 1/2.
Synopsis: Ricky Williams has turned in back-to-back 100-yard rushing games and leads the NFL's No. 4 ground attack vs. the league's 2nd-worst run defense, which allowed 250 yards to the Dolphins in Miami's 38-10 victory earlier this year. Buffalo's tepid offense (No. 28) figures to struggle because of an injury-depleted line.
Dolphins 20, Bills 13.
Seahawks AT Rams
When: Noon Line: Seahawks by 4.
Synopsis: Ugh! The NFC West's bottom dwellers meet. Seattle has lost 6 in a row on the road but has beaten the Rams 9 consecutive times. The Rams are without QB Marc Bulger (broken ankle) and turn to Kyle Boller, who filled in early in the season. The key to their offense, RB Steven Jackson, has a back ailment and might not play. Flip a coin here.
Seahawks 17, Rams 16.
Buccaneers AT Falcons
When: Noon Line: Falcons by 12.
Synopsis: Atlanta tries to get on track after losing 4 of 5 and has the perfect tonic here as Tampa is 1-9 and QB Josh Freeman starts in a dome for the first time in the NFL, a tall order. The Falcons hope to have RB Michael Turner back (sprained ankle, out last week). He should be eager to return because the Bucs have the NFL's worst run defense.
Falcons 30, Buccaneers 13.
Panthers AT Jets
When: Noon Line: Jets by 3.
Synopsis: NY has lost 6 of 7 but sticks with fading rookie QB Mark Sanchez (6 TD passes, 14 interceptions during slump). Can he rebound vs. a defense that has been battered by injuries? The key here will be which ground attack fares the best. The Jets' Thomas Jones-led NY unit is No. 2 overall and the Panthers, paced by DeAngelo Williams, are No. 3. Neither defense is strong vs. the run. Carolina WR Steve Smith (sore ribs) might not play.
Jets 22, Panthers 20.
Jaguars AT 49ers
When: 3:05 p.m. Line: 49ers by 3.
Synopsis: Jacksonville shoots for its 4th straight win, all vs. weaklings - KC, the NY Jets and Buffalo before this one. The Jags' Maurice Jones-Drew has run for 13 TDs and faces a defense that allowed Green Bay's Ryan Grant to run for 129 yards last week. SF has lost 5 of 6 but QB Alex Smith should move the ball, as the Jags are just 23rd overall on defense.
49ers 23, Jaguars 17.
Chiefs AT Chargers
When: 3:05 p.m. Line: Chargers by 13 1/2.
Synopsis: KC comes off its upset of Pittsburgh and seeks its first 3-game win streak since 2006 and WR Chris Chambers - cut recently by San Diego - has been a key factor. But KC runs into a sizzling bunch (5 wins in a row). The Chargers' biggest obstacle will be avoiding a letdown after a big win in Denver last week.
Chargers 23, Chiefs 17.
Bears AT Vikings
When: 3:15 p.m. Line: Vikings by 11.
Synopsis: Chicago has lost 4 of 5 and its injury-depleted defense struggles vs. the run. Now it faces perhaps the NFL's top RB, Adrian Peterson, who along with rejuvenated QB Brett Favre key an attack that produces 30.6 points per game, No. 2 in the NFL. Bears QB Jay Cutler, who has been a major disappointment, will work vs. a defense that has 36 sacks, tops in the NFL. Good luck with that.
Vikings 26, Bears 13.
Cardinals AT Titans
When: 3:15 p.m. Line: Titans by 2.
Synopsis: Cards QB Kurt Warner expects to start after missing the 2nd half last week (head injury). He'll be eager to face the AFC's worst pass defense and Arizona is 5-0 on the road. Tennessee has 4 wins in a row and NFL rushing leader Chris Johnson faces Arizona's 8th-rated run defense. This one means more to Tennessee, which started 0-6, than Arizona, which is dominating the NFC West.
Titans 30, Cardinals 24.
Steelers AT Ravens
When: 7:30 p.m. Line: Ravens by 7 1/2.
Synopsis: Pittsburgh has lost 2 in a row and likely will be minus QB Ben Roethlisberger (concussion), which would give Dennis Dixon - who has thrown 1 NFL pass - his first pro start. (Teams with a QB doing that are 11-21 since the start of 2006 season.) The Steelers also probably will be without ailing S Troy Polamalu. The Ravens don't have an offensive TD in their last 2 outings and have lost 4 of 6.
Ravens 23, Steelers 16.
Patriots AT Saints
When: 7:40 p.m. Monday Line: Saints by 1 1/2.
Synopsis: The NFL's top 2 offenses take the field. The Saints try to stay unbeaten as they churn out 420.5 yards a game, just 4.4 more than New England. New Orleans is balanced while New England has relied on the pass, although RB Laurence Maroney has been used more lately. The key here - can New Orleans' defense step up? It ranks just 17th, whereas New England's No. 7. The combined record of New Orleans' foes is just 37-63 while the Pats have faced a much stronger schedule.
Saints 31, Patriots 30.
